CEO 75-121 -- June 2, 1975
REPRESENTATION BEFORE AGENCIES
REPORTING OF REPRESENTATIONS MADE BY PUBLIC OFFICER'S PARTNERS AND ASSOCIATES
To: Steven R. Berger, Chairman, Miramar Advisory Planning Board, Miramar
Prepared by: Bonnie Johnson
QUESTION:
Must I, as an associate of a law firm consisting of 23 attorneys in two cities, list on CE Form 2, Representations Before Agencies, every representation made by my firm before an agency at the same level of government by virtue of my status as a public officer serving on the advisory planning board of the City of Miramar?
Your question is answered in the affirmative in that you must report those representations of which you have knowledge.
Enclosed is a copy of a previous opinion of this commission, CEO 74-78, the rationale of which is equally applicable to your inquiry. We are also enclosing a copy of CEO 75-52, the response to question 1 of which clarifies the meaning of the phrase "same level of government." Your question is answered accordingly.
